Google Makes Bold 2012 Predictions for Mobile Usage

At digital marketing agency Intergage, we were not surprised to hear that Google has recently predicted that 1 billion people will use a mobile phone as their primary tool to access the internet in 2012. Data from a Google –sponsored survey was recently unveiled by Jason Spero, Google’s head of mobile sales, at the Mobile World Congress event held in Barcelona. This data revealed that mobile search usage has now nearly 100% penetration among smartphone owners, who are typically using their phones to search the Web at least once a week. Continue reading
